Not really an answer but more of a workaround: With H4’s and H7’s I guess you could change the DRL bulb to an amber version and then code it to dim on indication

Unfortunately clearing the fault code didn't work but the DRL bulb holder burning out is next on the list. Many thanks all.

It could be the common fault of the DRL connector burnt out. Caravelle has H7 units and the bulb holder was upgraded following many failures. Easy way to identify is check if there are wires attached to the bulb holder. The original does not and picks up the feed from the headlight housing...
