Hi all, I have an early model T6 (65 plate non ad blue). I've bought two different pairs of replacement drlbulbs with bayonet type fittings but no luck in getting any to illuminate.
Original bulbs are "osram 7506 SL" I'm not sure if this is a wattage issue?? but the bulbs I've bought both...
Hi There, I tried change the DRLbulb on the driver side of my VW Multivan T6 however it is not working. I tried doing a reset by unplugging the battery. Start again and the bulb light orange on the dash didn't show until I turn the RDL on and it came up again. The passenger side works fine...
Just spotted this as well, it's a Left side 'G' so no DRL holder to replace.
£80.75 (delivered) or Best Offer. Says no bulbs but the pictures show them?

So many posts about the DRL compatible LEDs.
I figured since it such a pain... To switch drl's first.
It seems like the Twenty20 have good results without errors. Can someone confirm?

...seem to be a pattern of when it’s on/off (tried with auto lights and manual).
H7 headlights but the revised ones so not the old crappy DRLbulb holder.
No LED bulbs, all halogens. Although the number plate lights look a bit like they might be LED, is that standard?
I have a Westfalia...
Hi,
I've never had this type of headlight before and I just wanted to check if the beams look ok. I've had these off Ebay (used - I think they are THQ v3) and I've installed Osram night breaker H1 and H7 bulbs.
Thanks all.
Hello mate! I think I might have found a "loom" that you mentioned for the H15s that could work with the reversed polarity thing:

SIde lights, DRL's, and fogs on the front and any at the back. I've got Philips 11961ULWX2 LED T10 car signaling Bulb (W5W) 6.000K White in the side lights and Twenty20 in the DRL's. Passed the last 2 MOT's at 2 different testers and no errors.
I have an issue with the off-side DRL, I changed the bulb and it still doesn't work, looks like the harness that the bulb is seated in has melted/ been damaged if that makes sense? The new ones I have found seem to be totally different, T6 T32 LWB Shuttle
Is it fitting these?

If so I would crimp, not solder. Soldered joints are brittle and prone to snapping.
I have had lots of the Lumro bulbs fail, and at half an hour a time to get the bloody things back in its no joke.
I have moved on to Maruta, they seem to be better quality, however after the common failure of my H7 DRLbulb holder am now on the Twenty20 LEDs.
When I looked at theirs a year or so ago none of them were Canbus compatible. Without that they will trigger a fault. The Twenty20 ones from Autobulbsdirect don’t trigger the warning.
DRLbulbs
Sorry for the slow reply - I don't actually have a link to any H15 that I'd recommend. The one's I'm using have a very broad beam so the bright DRL issue that Dubber36 mentions is a risk. The first ones I got were these ones from Xenons Online H15 Mini Canbus DRL / Main Beam LED Bulb (Pair) ...
My van is a t6 Highline. Is there just one bulb in the housing the takes care of the fog function and cornering function and drl function?
The DRL function has stopped working on one side, hence the question.
Thanks.
The most cost effective T6 headlight upgrade from the crappy H4's.
Here's a pair of H7 Headlights with almost new Osram 200% Nightbreakers and Twenty20 LED DRL upgrades. New bulbs were installed March 2023. Headlights were removed from my van in October 2023, so bulbs less than 6 months Summer...
