@ahappychappie since my EGR delete and remap I have not seen or felt anything negative on my van. The van now pulls very well indeed with no hesitation at all. I do have the DSG box however I had the EGR delete and engine map done prior to the DSG remap and can confirm the huge change was very...
I do love the colour, looks really smart :D in terms of remaps, what are people's experiences mapping a 5 speed 102?
Budget in current market means that 102 for a T6 seems to be the compromise, so a Pendle remap is definitely on the agenda if I don't manage to source a 6 speed.
Not in a rush...
That all makes sense, as the vehicle weight increases with the build, larger wheels fitted and an increase in torque output any clutch is going to get a harder time. It’s a T28 102 5 speed so I won’t be going too mad, I think folks on here talk about going from the 240NM to 340NM range but I’d...
had mine done 2 weeks ago by Pendle HQ as I am local, 102 up to 170, so much smoother and responsive, highly recommend Martin fom Pendle HQ... mpg up from 32 to 36 but running 20 inch wheels, next change will be a swap over to 18 inch
I have an 18 plate 102, had a Pendle remap and took it to 159bhp, best thing I ever did. Covered 20k miles since the remap and had zero issues. If the map is done correctly and custom tuned to your vehicle you won't have any issues with it. As for mpg, mine has stayed pretty much exactly the...
Recently had my T6 102 EU5 spec remapped at Veloce Performance in South Africa.
Specs on the dyno at the wheels are 116hp & 305Nm.
This translates to about 148hp & 370Nm on the fly wheel.
It is a completely different van to drive! Done about 2000km since the remap and fuel consumption seems...
I thought REVO had pulled their 102remap @Andyf, due to the torque and subsequent gearbox issues?
I've more or less knocked that idea on the head for mine becasue of that. Which has also cancelled the big chunky tyres and a lift kit in case they are too much for the engine too!
Thought the 102...
This. I'd only use Pendle for a 84/102 map.
A friend of mine had his ex Sky (100k miles with them) 15 reg, T5.1 84ps remapped by Pendle and it drives superbly.
The clutch and flywheel were fine with the new power and well controlled torque despite the high mileage during it's life as a loaded...
So mine is the 102. I had a remap to about 160 about 2 years back. And had the EGR delete about 1000 miles ago. So far all good. I have kept the 160bhp map.
I’m very happy with it. It feels much better. Pulling in 4th or 5th when I would usually drop down a gear is no longer needed. It seems a...
I've got a 16 plate t6 102 shuttle and it's getting a custom remap and egr delete done tomorrow. I've been having issues with the egr so instead of paying £460+ just for the part itself I am getting the remap done and saving money. Been told it could increase the bhp to close to 170 as well as...
Thanks for the quick response - appreciated. I'd be doing mine the other way - i.e. EGR delete remap first then possibly Engine remap - so given your post seems they can live side by side - i.e. don't overwrite each other...
My van has an intermittent judder in first - hence why not had engine...
I have had problems with my 5sp gearbox T6
I have had problems with 5 Spd t6 after re map. Going to go back to as it was. What exactly was your problem ?
VED and MOT should be the same although you should check what VED category it is in now as some vehicles were wrongly registered when new and subsequent owners have been caught out. I don't think the DVLA will change an existing vehicle.
Insurance is a minefield and requires lots of quotes to...
I had my EU5 102 T6 REVO remapped last year. Only went to 140ps. I occasionally get a bit of judder if accelerating uphill in 4th from slower speed/revs - as @Wrenners suggests, if I wasn't lazy and dropped to 3rd first - no issue. the van is much better to drive with the remap, especially as...
