Hi all,
Hoping some one can often any advise,
I’ve recently had a few bits done to my t6 t30 102bhp with a camper conversion.
I had a new cambelt and water pump fitted,
New 20” wheels is with Goodyear F1s,
Full alignment,
And a revo map (set on the higher map)
The work was done by a trusted trader on here so shouldn’t be any problems with that.
So the problem I seem to be experiencing is that when I’m driving along and I load the engine I get a nasty vibration which will shake the whole van. In 4th it will give a little brief vibration but in 5th if I say have it at 2000rpm at 50mph and go WOT it will start vibrating like feck so have to back off and drop it down a gear and drive around it. First to third are fine.
Does this sound like the map is a little to much for the drive train? Or has it just shown up another issue? On idle the engine sounds fine but is quite rattely when accerating which from searching could indicate dmf is ok but maybe clutch pressure plate could be weak. Having said that there’s no slipping.
Has anyone else with a similar setup experienced the same? Bit lost with it.
