Bless you, I think I may have erroneously given the 180° impression of Nothampton!
Put it this way - I've a place in South Uist and we can't wait to flee there the second Mrs B gets some leave. The mere fact that Alan Carr likes the place told us all we needed to know, but Mrs B's job came with...
...so no hot gases are entering the EGR cooler. As you know if the EGR cooler breaks down and mixes water with the oil that’s game over. My 180 Btdi EGR was blanked from around 50k and probably saved the engine but the bores were already worn resulting in excess oil consumption eventually...
Not a daft question.
It doesn't go anywhere.
Just like a Solar panel that is not connected, the cells are ready to provide a current, but if there is nothing taking that current, if just sits there, ready. Doesn't cause any damage to the panel or the cells.

Actual position follows specified nicely. Now especially at 79...83 seconds looks good/normal. Have you done something? Any fault codes now?

Will do in daylight. I did about 180 miles on them yesterday and really pleased with them. The speedo was about 1mph over at 60 so reading 61 and doing 60. There is a VCDS setting to change that can bring it down ie speedo reading > actual speed. There have been posts on the topic.
Has anyone got a CBE 180 wiring harness for a water tank sensor that I could buy?
The conversion company that originally fitted the CBE 180 is not able to supply one. I have a probe but have not been able to buy a harness as it apparently comes as part of the CBE kit and not available separately.
I think this has just answered my questions and I will not buy my dream 4MOTION camper conversion 180 DSG . So gutted but at least I have been offered my deposit back. No issues with it but it is ot just the EGR, I am worried about turbo in the future etc.

The case against the T5 180 bi-turbo seems to be completely unquestionable but I have not seen anything convincing for our T6s. As said earlier I think the extra cost of...
