What battery is it? Moll batteries were defective from factory and this was a common fault when the start/stop was activated at traffic lights etc. have a check
Yes, that's similar to the memory module I mentioned earlier. Has been working 100% - my only very minor complaint is that it doesn't change stop/start button lighting. Now I have the button lighted as yellow all the time as stop/start is off... I would prefer it to be inverted operation so that...
Have the exact same thing it seems. Unfortunately it’s a bloody nightmare. I’ve had various sensors done oil regulator done twice. Oil pump. New battery. Still no further forward.
VW droitwich have never come across this apparently which I find hard to believe as so many have this issue. Good...
...starts (and sometimes for the duration of a journey) the lights (headlights and interior) seem to flicker quite significantly, and the 'start stop error' is shown on the dash (the new battery is startstop compatible) - I also had an increased idle RPM for a short duration on occasion when...
Soooo....its rained most of the day here in 'sunny' spain , eventually it stopped about 4.30 so what better time to polish your van  .
Had to start on the bit under the canopy cuz it hadn't finished spitting .
Hold on what van is that?
That hasn't got a shunt on that battery!
So that s either a T5 /T5.1.
Or a very early T6 without stopstart.
In either case its fine to go across the battery on that particular van.

Has anyone managed to change the Engine STOP/START setting ( i.e to disable stop/start) I tried as suggested by Carista support to pop the bonnet switch but still doesn't manage to save the setting.
I had a Ghost Immobiliser fitted to my Golf R a few weeks ago and happened to mention to the installer that I would like to disable the stop/start.
"I can do that with the Ghost" he said.
It works the same as the cable I believe, in that it remembers the last setting (OFF obviously)
Just...
I have VCDS that I use on another VAG vehicle and was able to make adjustments to some parameters that the stop/start function operates; essentially changing the temperature range so stop/start will only work when the ambient temperature is between 49-50 degrees. In my region it rarely gets that...
...faulty initially, then went to halfords to buy one of their kits and that worked. But I have this issue. I assumed it was to do with the startstop being mapped out however, since driving the van over the past few months it seems start/stop is no longer mapped out fully - works...
It sadly has no rear diff lock but I agree feels like that sound. Haldex oil just got changed by the dealer which made no difference. You stop and start in a straight line or slight bend and there is no problem. You stop at an intersection and go hard right or left or try to get in a car park...
Hi,
I'm new to this forum, having come across it whilst searching for help with an issue with my T6. I wonder if anyone has had similar issues. I'll try to be brief...
I own a 2021 T6.1 converted into a camper, with a split charger to enable the leisure battery to be charged when running. The...
Yes Auto Start is on, but isn’t that related to the SOC “condition”? I’ll keep fiddling about with the “quiet hours” settings to see if I can make it work.
Like I said I’m struggling with the inverse logic (generator stop means heater is on and vice versa).
Here's one stop/start event from my CXEB diesel engine for comparison. As you say the pressure starts to drop from stop event and drops in about 15 seconds to neighbourhood of 200 bar until picking up again. Interestingly, there is only a small pressure bump on engine start, but overall rail...
Hi mate, thanks for the reply
When I drove it home and the light was off, the startstop works fine. Then when the warning light pops up, it says Error StartStop on the dash.
I can’t see any history of the battery being replaced, have a full history of the vehicle as is an ex RAC so must...
