Hello! Yes i did.. Otherwise the steering wheel wouldn't work.. Everything works just the CC on the stalk doesn't work anymore and i get a ! mark on the MFD.. I've read on a different thread that if you want to have the CC on stalk working i have to use pin 17 instead of 36?

The one I bought for the same wheel had part number 6C0880201 E. Those are all zeroes in the part number. If you’re looking to add the wiring to enable MFSW then the easiest way is to get an airbag that already has MFSW wiring.

Can anyone help. I have a T6 Leighton can with carbon effect flat bottom mfsw. Thing is, the paddles have never worked. Can they ever work? Has something been left unplugged. My van gearbox is DSG. Appreciate the help.

It works, but swinging arms are in fault in Vcds in 16-steering wheel controler. I will short it not to have error. Nearly finished

Hi Romar, as Dellmassive has said it sounds like you need the additional wire as from memory the symptom of not having it is the horn not working. Have you updated the code to tell the computer there’s a MFSW? Loads of really good threads about all of this, good luck getting it sorted.

On mine, there is a check box for the camera 1 and others if you have them. Alpine 303 install kit used. Also reverse sensors and park pilot automatic when placed in reverse. All mfsw controls work and uses the vehicle’s original mike.

Hi, Can someone point me to the control module and address for live data on the MFSW buttons, specifically multimedia buttons. I can only locate the instrument cluster menu buttons and cruise, I cannot locate live data for the volume and track buttons. Thanks.

First non-mfsw fitting T5.1 will be next week. I will do some tests and create some content. The remote controller supplied is paired directly to a secured module on the main board. I will be checking, but thoughts are: this remote control method WILL NOT send 'emulated' mfsw controls anywhere...

Thanks Pauly! That helps me make a decision... I was trying to decide whether to retrofit CCS or just a MFSW, if it was simply a plug and play to fit a MFSW I would do that and live without CCS. Looks like it's time to take the brave pill and follow Chang1's guide!
