    Negative battery terminal connection issue

Not too sure to be honest, as I have not seen that issue myself. I connected the negative cable to the headlight fixing bolt and I turn off the rcd switch once I switch off and park up the van. Its been fine for me ever since. Did you get a good ground reading from your multimeter off the...

    Sargent or Victron set up?

Many, if not the majority of 12V related issues on here, especially LB problems, usually have “Sargent” in the post. https://www.t6forum.com/search/5784491/?q=Sargent&o=relevance

Solar panels to charge a bluetti power station

Hi ya. Thank you for the reply. It definitely is a bit to get your head around trying to find the best setup. I've been up at night reading all about solar . I will also be buying the DC charger too once the ac200l turns up. I bought mine from bluetti on eBay as a refurbished for £1000. I spoke...

Can’t set time on radio screen

It's quite a common fault. Our family Tiguan has this. Sometimes it displays 6.28 briefly but most of the time it 00.00 I tried resetting it etc to no avail. Do a search on google we are not alone. I don't think there is a fix for it as far as I am aware. Even dealer visits and software updates...

    Sargent or Victron set up?

I have a similar setup, victron for solar and dcdc charger, will get a main charger when my battery fails and I want to upgrade. Seems like the Sargent is quite good consolidated unit for consumer unit, fuses and control panel etc which I don’t think victron do anyway (at least not completely...

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Also, forgot to mention I fitted the door seal upgrade on the front doors from v dub transporters and have to say it's made an incredible difference on the drivers door but no so much on the passenger door really, still see the little 'flutter' at the bottom of the door when closing.

    Sargent or Victron set up?

I done both, well similar. I like the Sargent’s unit and control panel, I think it gives a professional and user friendly look compared to toggle switches and normal fuse boards/consumer unit. So I wired in a separate DC-DC charger with solar capability and a 12A mains charger. The Sargent is...
