Hi @Greybeard Thanks for your reply. I was looking at the Dial insulation when I noticed the ceramic roll, my thinking was that if its for high temperature it would work well for insulation. No other reason behind it just exploring all options. Happy to use the Dial if others have used it and...

It's very useful stuff to augment the insulation in cool boxes as well. Not had Hello Fresh for a while but I keep a few of the insulation packs for this.

Hi Does anyone use an internal pop top cover/insulator on a T6, if so how good are they at keeping the heat in when it’s cold weather. Being a newbie I’m not too sure whether it’s worth spending about £300 for one, any suggestions/advice would be fab. Cheers GB

Carpet the exposed metalwork, cut pieces of 'camping mat' type stuff and fit them each night to insulate the windows and carry a window vac for any condensation on other windows . This is what we do and it works really well :thumbsup:

For future reference, cable size is given in mm2 I.e. square millimetres, not diameter. At 2.7mm dia, your cable is (1.35x1.35)x3.142=5.726mm2 including insulation The core diameter of a 2.5mm2 cable would be 2x square root of 2.5/3.142=1.78mm

We have used adhesive 20mm closed cell foam insulation with a foil face, It was recommended to us by our local garage. We have insulated it in May 2024 and now, when it is hot, I can feel it keeps our van cool, which is ideal. It is also a vapour barrier. So highly recommend.

If insulation is being used on metal flooring then surely 6mm batons in between ridges should be used otherwise insulation on top of 9mm batons would be too high if you have sliding seat rails. I'm still researching the process as I am looking to lay 12mm ply with Altro on top. The way I see...
