Completed the packer install and also foil foamed the rest of the area cause it was spare and there... i know it's not essential to anything. Nice that the voids are filled is all. Got anchor points to drill out and loads more to do
Hi, This is my first post have been lurking the forums and digesting loads of great information. My question is would i be better off with a sargent set up or a victron type one?
Mainly going to be off grid , intend to fit solar to roof and a lipo battery, opinions gratefully recieved,
Thanks in...
I too connected my BLUETTI Charger 1 to the negative connector too and it drained my battery. Since connected to the headlight fixing point but still seeing slow drain on my battery while van not being used. I’ve installed a battery monitor and it charges fine while driving but lost 10% in 3...
Yes, apparently it’s because the front tyre flicks up the offending item and so it isn’t lying flat when the rear goes over it.

Interesting point...

Great price and very heavy duty.
Do you have an ignition live feed connected to your DCDC? If so, what is it connected to at the other end? Without the engine on the Renogy shouldn’t be taking half an amp out of the starter.

Watch out for the wee plastic end at the back though, it will fall off one day when your threading the awning strip on.
I've been chasing a parasitic battery drain as after leaving van for a week the starter battery will be flat.
Testing between negative battery terminal and negative lead with all doors shut ect im getting around 0.9a drain.
If I disconnect the positive cable from starter battery to renogy...
Turning a T28 into a T31 just by magically transferring £276 into someone else's bank account. SV Tech, or Van Weight Engineering are two companies that deal with up-plating, and have websites that explain the ins and outs. Worth doing if you are concerned about being legal with regard to the...
