You could go for a wrap rather than paint, and with a white top you could literally have any colour lower. Matte green or grey maybe?

They could have just put a bit of skeleton trunking vertically and not bothered with any of that Kopex, even laced with spiral wrap would have looked neater and leave easier access to individual cables.:whistle:

Agreed, the standard colour is much more appealing generally, opens the market up to everyone. For example, you can’t imagine anyone using it as an executive taxi in white/orange

the quote I received for a wrap was on condition there was “no flaking”. We decided to wait to the spring and get it done then. I will take it in then for them to have a look at and get a new quote (hopefully won’t be too much more than the ~£500 they quoted this time).

Probably best to wrap them, upholster them if you can? Plastic can be rubbed with Brasso to remove a thin layer of plastic (A bit like when you use T-Cut for paint).

Bump, still for sale. Happy to wrap and can even put on a pallet if helpful but can’t box up individually as don’t have boxes big enough

I think the risk there is your new panel security at 70mph is depending on the bonding between the layers of your old panel. And the other popular failure of the flexible panels is layer delamination...

It's nothing special, just the standard thin fibre board they use, and I covered it. There could be a little fluff damage where I removed the plastic thingys. If you can make good use of it I can wrap it and send it then let you know the postage. pm your address :thumbsdown:
