Poptop rainchanel paint peeling off SCA roof

Hi all,

After an advice please. Washed the campervan over the weekend and while trying to clean the roof a bit I noted that paint on one of the rain chanels has started to peel off on sides. This chanel always retained rain water as the campervan was leaning on that side due to the slope of our driveway and gunk collected as a result. What can I do to remedy this, as the rest of the roof is fine just this on one of the side of the rain chanel. The campervan is now 4 yrs old, and the SCA roof painted by the converters (Rolling Homes of Shrewsbury) at the beginning of 2020.

@Tourershine what do you think?

To be honest I didn't have a chance to get it sorted. Phoned the convertors who told me that it would be in the region of £2k to get the full roof respray as it's outside of the warranty. Once we get some dry weather I will get some matching paint from my local motor factors (they do smal pots of matching paints for £10) and I will just get it touch-up myself to be honest.

I’m going to put a corner on one of the Chanel’s fill it with clear silicone and try to quidditch the water round and see what happens I also polish the roof autoglym as well which must help,

I reckon you've got to get at least a fibreglass repair kit and some normal body filler from Screwfix/Toolstation and dive in otherwise the roof will carry on cracking and start delaminating as the rain gets in.
Also if you did want to vinyl wrap the roof the surface has to be perfect or the vinyl will show everything.
