I’m looking at fitting either the Inka or VeeDub Transporters leather looking seat covers. The how-to vid’s always seem to have a Kombi as the donor vehicle. Anyone know if it’s possible to fit the passenger double cover without removing the bulkhead. TIA
After 15 years in Transits, I'm going to order a new T6(SWB 150PS T32 startline) and as well as a work van I'd like to use it as a rudimentry camper.
A couple of questions what is the cost installing swival seats and any pros and cons for different makes or installers?
Has anyone ever made...
Hi, a new member to the forum and first time VW owner so thanks in advance for any help and advice!
I have recently bought a T6 kombi and have noticed there are some exposed screws in front of the rear seats (I assume where the bulkhead would have been?)
Is there a way of covering these?
Thanks!
Hi everyone,
Just picked up a T6 which comes with a Duovan system from CoTrim. This is essentially a second row of seats which are built into a bulkhead, a great system if you are after 5 seats but want the rear loading space to be completely cut off from the front of the van.
One of the...
Hi taken out my T6 kombi (lwb twinslider). It was drilled into the plywood lining so has some fixing holes. Ut otherwise seems good condition. £150 ono. Collect irvine.
A couple of months ago I acquired a 2nd hand bulkhead for my twin slider Kombi and its lowered the noise level considerably - but because I have racking it sits slightly in to the 2nd row seating area, meaning I can't fit the 2nd row seats without removing said bulkhead.
Are there any other...

This is a partial guide - as removing the whole bulkhead is the subject of many a conversion thread elsewhere. But here's the nugget - there are bolts hidden in the cab headlining you need to release to remove the top half of the bulkhead:
Slide this trim from one side of the van to the other...
I’ve just acquired a bulk head for my kombi and wow it’s made a huge difference to the noise inside the van reducing all the clatter from my tools
one small issue is that because it fits behind where the rear seats would be I can’t carry long items easily so it made me wonder if it’s possible...
Hello just interested what you all do about the bulkhead on the standard panel van when changing it to a Kombi
Can the original bulkhead be fabricated in any way to fit or is it easier To buy a one piece bulkhead to fit behind the new seats cheers
WE would like to convert our panel van to have a dog cage big enough to fit 3 medium dogs and a bed for two people in there, does anyone have any ideas?
Have looked at Rock n Roll beds but because of the cage I don't think I can fit a full length bed too.
Any thought or pictures to help would...
Hi all, very new to this and need a bit of advice!
Bought a 2016 T6 last week and the seller assured us he had fixed all the little problems with it. Turns out, he hadn't fixed any of them. One of the lesser problems is the ceiling panel above the main compartment - it's hanging off with a load...
Is it possible to fit a motexion bulkhead in a Kombi but behind the drivers seat to make it in to a van? I know they’re usually fitted behind the second row of seats but I can’t find any info on fitment behind the first first row / drivers seat.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated
