I'm looking at getting the 204ps 4motion DSG kombi in the next couple of weeks (offer from JCB, cost to them +£1). I wanted the DSG and 4motion, which leads to the only engine choice being the 204ps. Anyone had the 204ps for a while, ideally the 4motion dsg but asking a lot for real average...

Following on from my earlier thread on my new van spec I thought I'd ask on a separate thread about fuel economy. Can any drivers of the 204 or 150 engines comment on what sort of mpg they are getting and possibly tyre wear (if you've done a decent amount of miles)? I'm ordering a panel van...

Has anyone formed an opinion about the fuel economy read out? I've just checked mine for the first time. MFD said I'd averaged 41.9 mpg. When I checked this against the trip, versus fuel used.......or to put it another way, the miles on the trip versus the number of litres it took to fill it...
