Hello friends. A quick question if I may...I need to transport a 1000L ibc water tank...just wanted to confirm whether I can an get an empty one in the van ?!..T6.1 swb

Am I missing something? Surely it's a matter of comparing the dimensions of the tank with the dimensions of your van's load-space? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I tried to buy one last week and the seller told me the dimensions, my tape measure said it would fit in my SWB T6. Sadly he sold all of his IBC's the same day to a bulk buyer who took the lot.

The tape measure says it'll be a "snug" fit, possibly the O.P wants somebody to say, "Yes, I've done it" to give a bit of reassurance, which I failed to do.

I must try harder not to be so facetious. ;)

IBC's should be fine in a T6. I work with them daily. They're narrower one way than the other and am pretty sure they don't exceed 4ft on the long edge. Payload area between wheel arches is 4ft. Anyway I believe itll be fine. Maybe get some tough rubber under the corners as an anti slip method. Ratchet it down firmly and you'll be fine. If it's full as far forward as poss but avoid having it right up against back doors.
