Cheers...thought so. Must say they look great on the van! If I stuck them on mine as it is there would be gaping black holes around the top of them glwts

I get you - you need to lower your van then! It rides extremely well, especially on 18's. I had 20's on for a while but just didn't enjoy the handling as much - fitting 19's today and hopefully they're a compromise!

Yup...was thinking the same...19s good all rounder in terms of handling and looks. It does need lowering though...

quick bump of the thread.. just wondering if anyone has tried Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in 255/45/18 103 XL with 18" sportlines on a T6 T32?
Have used these on other cars and been very impressed with them for dry & wet grip.

Hi I’ve trawled the treads and can’t get an answer, please can someone tell me which size tyre would give the best mpg on my t28 67 t6 ?

I bought it with 255/45/18 , I just want the best mpg , as I thought that euro6 engines were quite efficient?
I’m getting about 10-15L / 100km which seems a bit heavy .
Are all the tyres on the door label going to give you the best Bmt mileage?
Thanks

Standard OEM tyre sizes will generally give best fuel economy though if you keep the rolling circumference of the tyre within a few percent economy shouldn't suffer significantly. Narrower tyres often make a vehicle more economical.
Tyres are sold with an EU economy rating. (A to E) Obviously avoid tyre brands with a poor economy rating. Inflate them to the correct pressure and check them every month or so.
Driving style is probably the biggest factor in fuel economy that you can influence easily.

255 45 / 18 on my T30 edition from the factory. Uniroyal Rainsport 5 tyres. Brilliant in the wet as expected but also amazing in the dry.

Anyone got a recommendation for 255/45/R18 tyres to fit to a Caravelle Gen6? Van seems to eat tyres - im getting about 1 to 1.5years out of a set at the moment 10k+ miles. Recently had a front shock change and bushes change so had alignment done - it was quite a way out!

I run Michelin Cross Climate SUV. After 7000 miles dont see much wear plus i love them in cold weather.

I’ve got a couple of cheap part worn Falken Azenis for sale. Taken off the front axle. I replaced all because the rears were wearing on the insides. Also took the opportunity to change to 235/50. Other than that they were really good performers.

Just bought my T6/T32. Tyres fitted are different to those listed on the door post so wondering what tyre pressure to use?

Door gives 205/65/R16 or 215/65/R16 or 215/60/R16 but the van is fitted with 255/45/R18 tyres. So what to I blow these up to?

Also some perhaps dumb questions - with the different wheel size will the speedo give the correct MPH and MPG?

And lastly can anyone identify the wheels?

I run 255/45/R18's at 50psi, previously ran 42psi and got excessive outer and inner shoulder wear

Door sticker off mine with 18” pressures. Mine is a T28 but will give you an idea. My Speedo is spot on with 255/45/18. Try comparing it to the GPS speed on a satnav.

I used to run my 18 sportlines low/mid 40s and tyre wear was pretty even

Thanks people -

I am pretty sure my van is a T32 but the sticker is different to yours;

I have only owned the van for 3 days, not even been on a trip in it yet other than collecting from Perth. So lots to learn!

I have just purchased a 2016 T32 Sportline campervan and have been on a load of sites trying to find the right pressure for my 255/45/R18 tyres .... at present I have them at 44psi all round .... any advice from knowledgeable members would be most helpful .... thanks
