Having replaced my 180 BiTdi with a 150 I’m surprised to be so disappointed with it. Im getting less MPG (33mpg combined) and having to go up and down the gearbox is annoying. The 150 has diesel knock and nowhere near as quiet as the 180 was. I know the 180’s have a real bad rep but my 2012 was perfect from the day I had it until I sold it with 100k + 12 years later. I’ve enquired about getting it mapped but that’s not possible on the 2024 models yet. I really wish I had gone the extra money and got the Sportline again. Oh well..

You shouldn't be surprised - you're not just dropping from 180 to 150, you're also moving to an engine that's strangled by its emissions control systems.
BTW, if you search the forum, you'll find that the Bosch ECU has now been cracked by at least one company and can be mapped.
