240/12v Control panel help

a quick one on this, does anyone know the make and model of this control panel and also if it should light up?

I've hooked up on 240v and had power to sockets etc but it is also connected to 12v but I'm not getting power.

I'll create a further thread later with the messed up wiring it has to see if anyone can shed any light if it is right. It definitely wants tidying.

That looks like a typical one off Amazon and yes it should light up

yep, ebay, amazon special.

standard off the shelf kit.

the blue LED can be wired in to show when the switch is powered - or not.


if nothing happens when the switches are toggled - then you have a problem up-stream?

unscrew the panel and take a pic of the rear wires . . . . it will look like spaghetti so dont worry, just be gentle.

Thanks all. The blue led worked when switched. Just no voltage display.

I'll grab a pic of the wiring behind tomorrow.
For now I'll leave you with the other dogs dinner....

Here's the rear of the panel. All fuses fine.

Will check fuses on the board in the back to see why it's not getting 12v power.

The 240v socket below is a direct feed from ehu.

Looks like someone went overboard with the negative cable from battery to dc charger so I'll be shortening that and having a general tidy up.

follow this red/(black) back -

the red should be fused at the point it connects to the battery.





down here somewhere.

couple of observations:

id make sure that every cable connected to the POS on that battery is fused.

and also make sure the battery is fixed down - so that it cant move. (wooden batons, webbing strap etc etc)

All sorted on the control panel front. Reconnected battery after checking other fuses and it has burst into life. Strange thing.

At least I know where I am with it now.

That's the control panel wiring. 10amp fuse.

The battery has been screwed to the floor which is not exactly ideal.

My only other observation is the fridge, it's a 12v 240v and gas.

When I turn on the control panel it shows 8.82v, if I push the switch for the fridge, the panel turns off.
I'm thinking lack of power from the battery.
