Hi All after changing everything on my Van and removing the revo Remap my van is running sweet again. However I am still getting this code pop up occaisionally.

My Question is this. How does the ECU decide this?

1.The Differential pressure sensor is under reading

or

2.Particulates being picked up by the sensor aft of the DPF module.

or

3.Another method that I cant think of?

As its a Brand new DPF I doubt that is the reason unless VW dropped it a few times before I got hold of it.

Anyone with VCDS please check witha warm engine the Differential pressures for the DPF and the Particulate count so I could make a comparison.

Cheers in advance.

@mmi

This looks like a great opportunity to get some DPF differential pressure data...?

1.The Differential pressure sensor is under reading
I don't know, unless - far fetched - but
its a Brand new DPF
Has the new DPF been adapted to the vehicle - i.e. ECU is aware about the DPF been replaced.

Yes, it's the normal place to detect soot passing through. See in threads below

the Particulate count so I could make a comparison.
for a healthy DPF plain 0 µA - see below

check witha warm engine the Differential pressures for the DPF
For a new DPF after a regeneration (5 mins to cool down to about 200 °C) approx. 6-7 mbars.

In other temperatures

Please post a log for us to compare...
