360 bird's-eye camera 24/7 security?

I love the 360° 4-camera system on my car. It's a factory fit and shows a bird's eye view which makes parking a breeze.
I'd like to install a similar after-market system on my T6, but was wondering if it's possible to create a solution which also offers some security whilst parked. There are plenty of products that record to a DVR while driving, but I'm struggling to find one that will record 24/7 (e.g. if someone keys the paint while parked) or send images via mobile data to alert me if someone is breaking into / stealing the van.

I could go down the route of having Ring doorbell type cameras connected to a 4G/WiFi dongle for the 24/7 security, but they wouldn't give me the 360° bird's-eye parking camera.

Any suggestions to avoid me installing two parallel systems with 8 cameras?!

Had that on my last 2 cars before I got the van, something I really do miss.
Sadly Transporters are fairly agricultural compared to most modern cars.
I have a feeling that @Robert might have been trying to retrofit such a system.

Dont see how it would offer additional security, i know it appears like its looking down from above but the cameras are in the bottom of the wing mirrors so if there was an incident all you would see are people legs/shoes, doubt there would be anything worthwhile there

Someone did actually install a system on their van and got it working with an additioanl monitor to view on, think it was @andys possibly ?

If I was fitting it myself instead of from the Nissan LEAF factory, I'd put the side and rear cameras up high, not under the wing mirrors. There are plenty of systems on the market that use this high-mounted solution to help truck drivers avoid squashing pedestrians and cyclists, but I want to figure out how to add the extra features for security while parked.
