A little wave makes you feel good.

My Mrs had a VW Bug years ago and when she bought it she was told all Bug owners wave. She though they were winding her up but it was 99% true even on the continent they waved.

I've been prepared to wave/acknowledging nod but "Big Dave" in his white T6 seem less keen...

I’m a waver lol. Definitely got to give your fellow t6 owners a wave.
I had a old mini copper and everyone who had one too would wave

Went to Stratford upon Avon today and got two separate waves from T6s who got waves back also picked up a white T5/6 leading up and onto the M40 to form a two van convoy for a couple of miles, he got a Cripps style gang sign as we veered off towards Leamington as I thought a wave might look a bit like an Hitler salute from the side!

When I don't wave;

The van is clearly a 'working' unmoded van (taxi drivers and builders just look at me odd).
Driving In Cornwall (my arm would fall off)

When I do wave,

Every other time (my wife hates it, which makes me love doing it even more)

I’ve given up waving- in my T5 camper would wave and recive waves all the time which was fun, now in my T6 kombi I just get blanked.

Bognor To Brighton To Burnley, How Many Waves?

Zero! :waving:

In the long and distant past, we had a 1977 (Silver Jubilee edition) VW Beetle and waving at other bugs was practically compulsory. Also owned a couple of Defenders more recently and that was just as bad (good?).

However, we did see lots of very nice Transporters as well as the usual builders vans, airport shuttles etc. along with a mint T3 camper van. Also saw a gorgeous T6 Kombi in grey heading the other way towing a trailer carrying a classic Mini in bright orange, anyone on here?

Transfers! I meant airport transfer vans :D
They did have lettering down the sides so they were definitely working vans...

Keep the faith mate we aren’t all that bad, I pretty much wave at everyone I see get some back but quite a lot are victor melldrews and don’t bother :(
Once had a t5 driver flip me the bird lovely chap!

That would have been the T5 tumbleweed blowing by then, I normally kill threads too if that helps but it's possibly where you've got "Keepad Plumbing" and "Gas Safe" stickers on the side of your Kombi?
