About to pull the trigger on a used AA van

I’m new to the Transporter and van world but have my eye on a 67 plate ex AA van. It’s done 115k and in nice condition, it has service history but not what’s been serviced, is there a way to find this out?

Many thanks

Dan

Welcome to the Forum!
I'd assume it had oil and oil filter done on every service that's listed, probably fuel filter and air filter too.
I wouldn't get too hung up on any other details if it has a stamp at the correct intervals / mileages, but I'd certainly want to see evidence of a cambelt change.
Keep us updated!

If its an AA van, assuming its similar to the RAC vans that are leased, they come with a complete breakdown of all work carried out in servicing, I looked at a few a while back and if you ask most sellers will let you see a copy of the work carried out, where it was carried out, and at what mileage, don't expect all of the work to be carried out at VW dealerships mind.

This particular seller doesn’t have access to a breakdown of what was serviced just at what mileage. Do you think I could find out what was done if I know who serviced it? Bit of a long shot

Thank you! Hopefully I’ll be an owner soon It’s the cam belt that I’m most interested in as it’s pretty much on it’s due mileage for the change.

It's overdue a cambelt if it hasn't had one already, VW UK say it should have a new cambelt at 4 years regardless of mileage, or 5 years if you live in continental Europe.
