ABT Rear Spoiler and Tailgate Bike Rack

Hi

I have read a load of posts about you simply can't have a door mounted bike rack with a rear spoiler which makes sense for all the spoilers that mount across the top of the rear door. However the ABT rear spoiler may not be very subtle but it does not run along the top as per conventional but has two elevated sections to the left and right with a wide air gap between the spoiler and the van rear door and look to be mounted either side of the door. If anyone has any experience of this would appreciate any input at all.

You would probably find your answer by telephoning Richter Sport as they are one, if not the main, agent for ABT in the U.K. I believe.

Hi I have just been on the Vansport web site looking for some side bars rather than pay the £500 + cost at VW and noted they are ABT dealers looked at the ABT spoiler and
it says that it is designed to fit with a genuine VW accessory cycle rack. Result as it now looks like this is the only option if you want a spoiler.
