Update...just got off the phone with a guy who specialises in vag diagnostics and he confirms what @S700 says. The wheel alignment being out will cause this issue and if the fault stays on then he suggests the radar will need calibrating. But as mine comes on then goes off it may correct itself after the wheel alignment is done if im lucky. Im waiting on a tyre delivery so i can swap the winters for summers and book in for a hunter. Once again i cant fault this forum and the people that are on it enough for all the help and support. Thank you all.
My steering angle sensor had a fault logged as it was off centre due to tracking being too far out, it disabled start/stop and gave me traction control and abs warnings etc
I took it in for four wheel alignment and when i left drove approx one mile and all issues disappeared
Point im making is that was pre calibration, mine drove fine but steering wheel was off centre and thus angle sensor was out, calibration would have been the next step
