Unfortunately i have a cracked windscreen, i am going to get a new one through my insurance. As the rear view mirror is stuck on, do i have to restick this to the new windscreen ? If so what do i use ?
the windscreen boys should do all that for you as park of the replacement.

Put a kettle under it and steam up the windscreen maybe
Just had a new screen fitted by auto windscreens, they did a great job no worries.
Must be a quality screen has all this legit writing and half eaten apple symbol and E1 food colouring

Oh and the guy how fitted it said they are the same part number as a t5 screen. its no thinner or anything weird.

Is it just me, or does anyone else suffer the same affliction.......
every time their significant other borrows the van, it comes back with damage that was not there before?
Wonder if the forum sticker is now holding the screen together?

Just what I need when her Volvo V40 has decided that it wants to be a 3 door and not a 5 door. The bloody rear doors won’t open either from the inside or the outside. V40 forums are full of posts about it, but no recall, despite the potential to be trapped in the car and burn to death. Well out of warranty as well.

I'm not sure I have a guy in my repertoire to fix that one on a Saturday morning mate. I will hold off on the Bacon this week.

If it helps, there was around a 4 week wait last time I broke mine. Just so you can plan ahead
