Anyone put an RSQ3 engine & gearbox into a Transporter?
Maybe nobody‘s done it before.
Yearh agree there’s loads of conversions but no companies like to give out info ,
Without charging,
So far adapt the 2.0 t5.1/t6 dsg gearbox so it mounts in std form , bellhousing needs to altered not overly bad , dsg ecu swops over from obh to obt ( so it vin matched ) pins out both same on dsg gearbox plug ,
As the obh ecu is all trolled via high/low canbus
Which works threw engine ecu / gearbox ecu / abs pump/ can gateaway controller/ cluster for speedo

Having to go hard way , from cut looms to remove parts that are needed ( following pin by pin threw a car loom isn’t fun lol

Which companies are doing RS3 conversions?
I know MTM did but that's way out of my price range.

This conversion would be better in a t5.1/t6.

Had to convert early t5 cluster to later t5.1 cluster and update abs pump , got around immo fault mainly for the dsg gearbox
Next is a fresh canbus instail , if anyone has a t5.1 cluster pinout out would be greatfull if u can send via pm ,

Only place that’s done them far as I’m aware , sure seen one on fAckbook too but , find build the ads/ data. Is another story , if I can find it I’ll share it so could be helpfull to others

It is from a genuine dealer workshop manual for a T5 2010 to 2015 which in my mind should be a T5.1
