Battery issues

It seems my battery has had better days,so its time to renew,but,if I get the same varta 12v 70ah starter battery will it need re coding or not, know if I get bigger battery it will need recoding, no gear for that.Or can I get any make of battery with a 12v 70ah.
Electrics is not my strong point so checking with people who know. Cheers people

Any new battery will work fine....

But will need coding in soon, most places will have a box to do it..... eg Halfords, local car garage etc etc.

Hi @Gordy1956 Carista is on Amazon for £34.99 at the moment which will allow you to code any new battery, plus a load of other completely necessary stuff like 'needle sweep' and enabling 'tear drop wipe' etc... If I can use it anybody can. I suffered with starter battery anxiety so went for a Bosch S5 A13 battery, pretty much the largest one which fits. No such anxiety since. I would be happy to oblige if you were to travel to the sunny West Midlands.
