Battery scuttle panel water leak. Is this normal? T6 2018

I was wondering does anybody else notice water leaking from the passenger side scuttle panel behind the battery after wet weather?

I guess unlike the drivers side panel that is above the scuttle it is a low point under the scuttle so water would pool there and eventually leak. Is this normal?

I had a similar issue on another VW I owned, and it was the drain rubbers had blocked up with leaf debris. Not noticed it on my T6, but worthwhile checking that all drains are clear.

Worth checking the AC drain as water can appear below the dash on the passenger side sometimes if the rubber pipe comes off.

I recently borrowed a new t6.1 whilst the van was in the garage. I poured some water in the scuttle it seemed to have exactly the same issue. So perhaps it's not something to worry about.
