Big Brakes question

Hi all.

Please forgive my ignorance as i know there are quite a few threads about this, i just would like to know for definate.

I would like to upgrade my brakes on my 2017 VWt6 T28. Its a full camper conversion with 19" alloys, and my questions are:

1. What is the best upgrade, the T6 T32 big brakes or the T6.1 T32 big brakes.
2. Are the standard size brakes on a T6.1 better than the standard on the T6?
3. Do i change the rear too, or is it just the fronts that require fitting?
4. Are there any mods that are required with either of the big brakes named above?

As always your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Darren.

The T6 and T6.1 will offer the same braking performance, they both use the same 340mm disc and both use a 2 pot piston caliper. Pads although different in shape they both have a similar braking surface overall.

People just prefer the T6 style as they look bigger in appearance behind the wheel.

It something we can source for you and team up with our pads and discs which are very well received on this forum.

The rears will be fine to leave as a 294mm disc as this is what comes standard on either the 308mm or 340mm brake option

Or we can offer a 4 pot or 6 pot big brake kit on a 355mm two piece disc
