Does your wrap come around the edges of the full bonnet, and lip inside as it shuts?
A friend of mine has his Call bonnet wrapped in clear vinyl, but the guy left 2-3mm of the front edge exposed, which I wasn't keen on, and one of the areas prone to chips.

Had my red van just over a year now ,15000 miles and the bonnet is peppered in stone chips , I so wish I had it clear wrapped from new ! It’s a must to any new van ! Will certainly do it when I come to change again

Depends on where the edge is, the quality of the vinyl and the skill of the fitter.
There are no exposed bits on mine but also it's not practical to go around the edges in places like the edges of the wing mirrors. I'll try and take some photos close up later when the fog lifts..
TBH it's quite difficult to see the edges without feeling about with your fingers..

Had an expel clear protective self healing film fitted to my bonnet/lights/mirrors the other day, really about with fit n finish

They also did rear tail entry as a bonus!

its the Xpel one I have too.

Xpel comes laser precut as it would be almost impossible to cut it correctly by hand on site with the thickness.

It wraps around on the front and sides, finishes about 2mm short at the top edge by the windscreen, you wouldn't know unless you were shown.
I was told this would be the case beforehand.

I think I’m going to get it done but think it may be worth getting a coloured one....it’ll likely be the same price .....
Any ideas of cost ?

If you have a general coloured vinyl it'll be cheaper than the Xpel clear armour. I'm not sure if Xpel do a coloured one.

For reference we were 400 for the clear bonnet and 800 for the lower half of the van in colour

There's several members that have had their bonnets wrapped in various styles, including @Fish.
I had a bonnet bra and they can cause issues with the paint, so now I just play dot to dot with the stone chips. Last game I made the shape of a Giraffe, which is cool i think.

Wish i'd of done this, modern paint as terrible at resisting stone chips. Do you ever wax the bonnet? or is it just not necessary.
