Got to test mine out last night too! Driving home from work a car pulled out and I knew he was going to pull out as they always pull out fro this particular industrial estate but usually go speeding off as its a 40 mph single carriageway just before a big island. he was in front of me and about 3 car lengths away when without warning he stops dead! No break lights! ( it was a 2014 car too!) and I mean 40mph to zero! No reason! I slammed on my breaks as hard as I could and just before impact (I would have hit the back of him no doubt!), he suddenly speeds off! I slammed my horn on and as we both reached the island I intended highlighting what had just happened, but he sped round the island at speed! When I got home, I looked at what the damage was from what had been flung from the back to the front of the van and the camping chairs I had left in have taken several layers of paint off my inside wheel arches! Not happy. No idea why he stopped but if he hadn't have moved I would have hit him! Tyres screeched and everything! Amazed how quickly I was stopping though in the circumstances so I was impressed with std!

Wonder if the brake lights have been disconnected on purpose and he/she was after an insurance claim... may be worth reporting the details to the police if you have the reg number; if they do it to someone else & your report appears on file...

ohhh a close call. Recently put a dash cam in, just for those type of thing. Didn't really want a dash cam but your kind of incident is a bit too common.

That's hardly Can Am. Needs to be a couple of metres higher :D

The older transit is such a sexy van. That one is lovely. Sounds great.
Ah I saw that at Thruxton, would you believe it was behind me in the paddock and I realised I could hear this burbling noise turned round and there it was right in front of me. Had to get out of the year quick but boy was that awesome to watch on the circuit

When I left college way back when I used to drive a V4 Transit it was horrible - the 1340 race prep'd mini van I used was so much better.

I used to drive a LWB twin wheel 3ltr V6 Transit occasionally - that could haul.

Anyway what has any of this got to do with T6 brake upgrades o_O

1340 how many BHP? my 1380 put out 100 at the wheels ;) and nothing to do with brakes just some fun the tranny was just pointing out what could be done so were is Super Transporter I'll go with this one
472HP MTM T500 VW Transporter :sneaky:

Don't know about HP - probably a few. It was built in the workshops of the company I worked for - Speedwell. For the younger viewers that was a tuning business, that was predominantly Minis, owned by Graham Hill.

Oh and it didn't have big brakes either ;)
