So being a dad with no diy skills, the “here are son, remove this” and off he went . Appreciate there’s more work to be done and will let the pros do that, but nice to have light in thr back!! Thabks for everyone’s advice and feel free to come and collect this bulk head if anyone wants a free chunk of metal for some reason. Ones persons junk is another’s treasure and all that ! Seems a shame to skip it!!

So, after driving around, couldn’t even hear my partner due to road noise so got some floor mats from Halfords £32, and the difference is just massive, like a whole new van. Can’t imagine what proper sound insulation would be like so ordered some dodo sound deadining material and insulation.
