Ditto - I imagine your neighbour will be more than happy to help - people like that usually are. Once they’ve walked you through it, you’ll be surprised at how simple it is. A lot of maintenance bits are simple too, but just don’t come to mind. It's not difficult at all but depends on your confidence, I'd just take it a local garage if your not ready to tackle it yet, vw will charge you a lot... Or ask your neighbour
Hi, Bit of an old thread but did you ever figure this out? i have something similar but i think mine was caused by multiple things....i have had a wheel alignment and wheel balancing done, i also replaced a drive shaft which made it a lot better but its still there, the bushes on the wishbones were shot so I've done them and did ball joints and drop links at the same time...still this slight wobble,/ rumble feeling when driving! oh yes, I've also ended up changing the bearing trying to chase this down but still there, what the hell could it be?Neighbour has already offered to help change the wheels over, so I’ll at least ask his advise. I’ll buy him a few beers!
Thanks, i'm actually now thinking i have a calliper binding slightlySorry long time ago, you forget what you write in these forums. I think it was just not used to driving a van to be honest. I don’t notice anything now. Had different suspension fitted since as well think that helped compared to the stock.
