2019 had around 20,000 visitors. The current rules on festivals are max 4000. I hope I’m reading it wrong as will be gutted to miss another year. If that’s correct I doubt it’ll be viable for them sadly

....

Hello everyone,

There are no words to convey how my team and I are feeling right now. We are truly gutted for you guys, for our suppliers, our traders, our sponsors, our entertainers, our venue and our team.

This will now be the second year we are unable to bring you Camper Jam and we are quite frankly, a little broken.
Although, yes - we feared this news may come, we still had real hope. Our team has, as always, been working tirelessly getting everything ready to go and your wristband packs were being posted this week. We just needed the nod! .. Sadly - it was not meant to be.

So, what does this mean for you?

Those of you with 2021 tickets will automatically have your bookings moved to next year’s event. Dates are 1st - 3rd July 2022 and we ask that you please do this. Keeping your tickets means guaranteeing your place to next summer's event: and you’ll still benefit from any discounts you may have received when you booked.

Any refunded ticket orders will be made available to our waiting list. If you booked kids tickets and you’re worried they’ll be in an adult Price bracket for next year or no longer under the age of 5, don’t worry about that. We will take that into account and there’s nothing you need to do.

So please roll your ticket orders over to next summer to help us to keep Camper Jam ticking along. Obviously we DO understand this may not be possible for some of you - if you do need a refund for your booking - We will, of course, arrange this for you. You’ll be receiving an email later today with this option.

As much as we didn’t want to, we did have to anticipate this news. And so, we have been working in the background to see if we can deliver a compliant Camper Site ‘Plus’ event to Weston Park on the same weekend as Camper Jam. This will be a strictly limited in capacity and a socially distanced event, allowing us to follow government guidelines whilst still having a great time.

For all information on this, please register your interest at www.campersite.co.uk/plus

We all want to thank you again, for your incredible support and your huge love for Camper Jam. Quite frankly - you guys and your many kind messages we have received in the last year really have kept us going on the darkest days.

We miss you all so much. Keep hanging on in there.

Stay safe and be fab to each other.

The Camper Jam Crew

Sad News!!!

Ok, is this an opportunity to do something a bit further south for that weekend, or an opportunity to do something near water so we can do a bit of paddle boarding/kayaking?

Thoughts on a postcard...

Corrected for you.
A comedian, who knew!!! Just bear in mind my last journeys were nearly 8 hours each way!!

There's Willow Fields near Doncaster... that's a little further North... or perhaps we could do something near Bournemouth :)

Jeez, where were you coming from Prague?

Oh there is a second line appeared thats not in. the first post. Where did the Doncaster bit come from?

Peak District might be a bit nice that Doncaster?

Trick will be finding somewhere accommodating at short notice...

I have one that might be willing near Bodiam Caste - but it depends on who is willing to travel? it also gets quite busy with tents... so would have to see if we could get an area fenced off... I am only an hour or so away so can go there and speak to them...

Its south of me though so probably a no go though...

If you go to the camperjam site i think they are gauging numbers for a smaller thing at the same place.Just have to put details in and they say they will get back.

This is CamperJams Plan-B

same weekend - same place, . . . . but covid safe.

Camper Site Plus

We’re adding an extra dimension to Camper Site by adding more of what you’d expect from a traditional VW Show but in a safe, socially distanced environment.

What to expect

  • Show ‘n’ Shine
  • Socially distanced camping in the beautiful grounds of Weston Park
  • Trader Stalls
  • Street Food
  • Live socially distanced music and entertainment
  • Covid Safe Activities
  • Fun Fair

Launched in August 2020 in response to COVID limitations we’re proud to offer a safe, relaxed atmosphere for you and your family bubble to enjoy a weekend with us.

Our promise is to offer a unique camping experience in the beautiful grounds of our hand-picked stately homes.

We are thrilled this year to offer exciting new locations, as well as those you already know and love. We are also working hard to offer some organised new activities and working with fantastic independent businesses and increasing our choice of food and bars.

Each Camper Site offers as standard:

  • Plenty of space to camp with friends and family
  • High quality and regularly cleaned toilet and showers facilities
  • Amazing street food options from stone fired pizza to fish and chips
  • Fresh Coffee, Milkshake and Dessert traders
  • Pinup Brewery serving up Lawless Lager, Longhorn IPA, Session IPA and Pure Cider along with a selection of wines, cocktails and soft drinks
  • Onsite activities for the whole family available to book and pay on the day
In addition to all of this you’ll have access to each location’s own unique setting and grounds, walks and activities.

Could work out well. Wonder if it is worth getting numbers together on here and trying to make a group booking? Or at least running it past them in advance of Thursday… just a thought.

Skyliner33.
Why blame Boris. Why not blame the selfish airlines, and the travellers who were rushing back from a dangerous country. Citizens have more responsibility than a Governments guide lines. Regret Governments haven't replaced brains for everyone, yet!

We had booked a day ticket only ….but could do Saturday/Sunday overnight :)

edit .. registered an interest..but not a preference and as said above by @czmate1999 see what happens ;)
