Camper King Pop-Top quality

Hello
Does anyone have any opinions on Camper King pop tops good or bad?
I believe they are manufactured by pop top roofs but I'm interested in any views on quality in comparison to Reimo,Austops etc?
Thank you

Search with ‘camper king’.
I don’t have a Camper King conversion but i’ve read very mixed comments on this Forum. They turn out a lot of vans.
My advice is don’t go for a ’cheaper’ pop top, there are many items that can be improved with relative ease on a campervan but the pop top isn’t one of them.

Yes I agree it's a crucial factor in my decision making, its currently what's steering me away I think.

Plenty of chatter on here about CK. We visited their premises when we were researching our van. We hadn't decided on a converter at that point, so we went eyes open & un-biased. Personally I thought they were mass market tat & not worthy of our hard earned. Other people are happy with theirs, but each to their own.

Are you looking to get a van from them or just the pop top? (Assuming they do partial upgrades)

Austops are relatively cheap pop tops but mine is good, not fancy but does what it says on the tin. Maybe look at them if you are looking for a roof only as they specialise in roofs only

It's a second hand van (21 plate) from a private seller,it operates up and down as it should and would appear to fit as it should.
Just concerned about the quality and life expectancy of the roof components.

Hi
I'm new on the forum here. We are now the owners of a 71 plate camper King T6.1 it's a long story how we got this van but now I can understand why camper King have a bad reputation, anyway there are a lot of clunk's coming from the roof so I've taken out the roof lining and can see that there is a lot to be desired in the way the fit the pop top. Not much strength and a lot of movement in it, there lots of metal cuttings on the top of the roof lining it makes you wonder if they even take it out when working on the van. I'm going to have a go at strengthening it some how now at least enough to stop the noise, has anyone else made improvements to them?
Thanks
