Camper: should I add a solar panel?

Have any of you had a solar panel fitted to the pop top roof of your camper?
Getting my van converted by Vanworx in the new year, and I'm trying to decide which extras i need. The van will come with a 110amp leisure battery. Is the solar panel worth the £500 price tag? How long will the leisure battery last with normal usage? We're not planning on doing loads of wild camping, but i like the idea of not having to pay for electricity on each campsite we use

Have 60 watt on top.
80 amp/hr battery and managed full 3 days static at carfest off grid without any probs!

We have a panel on ours. 100w I think. Not back from being converted yet though, so no real experience with them yet.

Our thinking though was not having to worry about the fridge killing the battery if we don't drive it for a bit.

Thanks for the info guys, really helpful. I think i'll go for one. I like the idea of it being fitted when the roof is going on, giving a neater finish with the cables etc
