The van in the original post looks a shade darker and I think that’s what is making the difference. I’m not sure it works with the very bright red of yours. It may just be the ambient light making the red look different, but to me the stripe looks better against the darker red.
I'm not one for fashion or style but the fact that on your mock up neither end meets the top of either lights could be what's making it look a bit "Halfords".
I would make sure that at least one end "front" starts at the top of the light and follows the crease in the body work.
yes agree it needs start from the side indicator and follow the crease. Have asked for another mock up to see how it looks higher up.
Where about's are you getting your mock ups done please?

Straight plain starting from side indicator light, looks much better though plain and boring. Going to see how a step up after the rear slider would look.

I got mine off eBay from BeatnikDecals - mine are fairly small, but stuck to the van fine, and have been on almost a year, with no problems.
On the plus side, was renewing the insurance, and declared the stripes as a modification - knocked £30 off the quote. They've paid for themselves!

@Big.mac this won't help you now but I have the same decals as you on my van, they are not super sticky like traditional decals, you have to apply them using a washing up liquid solution and then squeegee them on to remove any trapped bubbles, they should of arrived with instructions on how to apply them, mine have been on for two years with no issues.

I think they are the same ones. I’ve applied decals before and did use the soapy water approach on these but they just weren’t staying in place at all. I recently applied a transparent vinyl on the top of the rear bumper in the same way. When doing that once the water was squeegied out it adhered nicely. These stripes didn’t. They are now in the bin.

Hi everyone. I’m struggling to source decent chrome door trims/streamers (similar to OEM chrome pack) for my SWB T6 ‘velle. TPS quoted over £300 per side...trade!! Sorted the lower front trims from Travelinlite and tailgate trim from eBay. Also need rubber load liners to protect my carpet from mud, sand etc. Oh, and roof rails. Can anyone help??

Thanks @Jamie2.0 That’s what I’ve found. Got some off eBay and they’re much wider than OEM and sharp as a samurai sword!! I’ll be returning them anyway as they’re slightly too long and overhang the door edge. I’ve found rolls of 30mm thick chrome car trim on eBay. It’s only around a tenner for 5m so it’s worth a punt? If it looks tacky I’ll leave it bare. Don’t want to cheapen my lovely 18 plate Caravelle now do I??!!
