Caravelle To Stay Or Go

so VW Wrexham finally book my 18 plate Caravelle in for a warranty claim some 4 months after the parts were ordered. I arrived at the dealership nice and early to pick up my “loaner” a 204 Kombi. Expecting a call just after lunch to tell my Caravelle is ready to collect but the call never came, finally after me calling them 5 times they said “ unfortunately we need to order more parts” and that’s when the argument start. The end result is I now have a loaner for the foreseeable as VW Wrexham don’t have a f****ng clue. So much so that my dilemma is as they are my local dealership I have nowhere else to take my Caravelle for service

I have but I start getting into 1 hr + travelling time just to get there
What worse is the fault is with a second row single seat and when I said they could have the seat for a week, they said the needed the whole vehicle, madness

Dos tha no

Looks like a quick search on this forum and VW Wrexham get some general criticism for their customer service and lack of management and ACTUAL service. I would spend the hour going else where for your service.

I travel up to 90mins (traffic dependant) to my new dealership as mine that are only 10mins away have pi$$ed me off three times in three visits

I can recommend one not to got too :slow rofl:I’ve been waiting 3 days now for a phone call to be returned! And their service department doesn’t even answer the phone.

It would be interesting to see if it is the same dealership name.
Wrexham is a Swansway dealership

Liverpool gets my vote. Only had one service from them so far and did some work in the showroom while I waited for them to complete the job... you will have to pay £4 for the bridge though.

I think it’s a Swansway dealership as well.

Preston Van Centre been good with me. While you wait first service plus video health check, plus sorted my electric folding wing mirror's

Wrexham are total numpties and I wouldn’t give them the time of day.... I bought mine from Llandudno and the they are total professional. They aren’t part of a large “inchcape type” group.
