Centre Parks van restrictions

Just about to book a week at Centre Parks Longleat next year. The wife spotted in the T&Cs that you are not allowed to park a camper van in their car park whilst staying at a lodge!
As our van is our main family vehicle we are stuffed. She phoned them and they just confirmed this. Anyone else come across this?
Personally I think they are so expensive I’d rather go elsewhere but our granddaughter now has her expectations set.

Is yours a pop top?
I had no issue parking ours when we went(Longford, Ireland) earlier in the year.

Ridiculous our van is our main vehicle too.

There’s plenty of places willing take your money, you would of thought these kind of places especially after Covid have realised they need all the custom they can. Crazy

I would call or email them for clarification .
we were at longleat recently and I did see a few T6’s there - mine was at home

That will teach you to read the T&Cs tell them its a van with windows or don't tell them anything it probably means no sleeping in one pay for 1 bed villa for 2 people and 2 sleep in the van and get free holiday

Yes it is a pop top. We certainly don’t plan to sleep in it there. I think I agree with Bargy62 but the wife would be too nervous in case we got there and were refused entry. After all, look at their customer relations attitude recently the day of the Queens funeral!

Centre Parcs Whinfell few years ago with a T5 red leisuredrive campervan.....no issues?! Pop top Roof and all graphics etc.

There are restrictions on the access and parking arrangements for larger vehicles at each village. Please contact the Guest Careline on 03448 267 708 for further information. Caravans, campers and/or mobile homes are not permitted on our villages.
@JohnR
this is all about living in one or arriving in some massive motorhome or 2 parking spaces 1 for car and another for caravan not your daily drive which is a T6 no mention of no panel vans whats on your V5 is it still a van

I’d just turn up. If they say anything then the answer is ‘this is my daily drive and I have no other means to get here. If you see anyone sleeping in the vehicle by all means kick us off.’

Thanks for the input everyone. Really helpful.
Weve gone ahead and booked and I plan to take the van. I like your comment Paynewright.
The booking is not until next summer but I'll report back how it goes.

Yup, still a van,

I went to Sherwood last December and there was loads of T4/T5/T6 camper conversions, I'll be back this December, parked in the furthest corner of the carpark taking up two spaces.
