I have a T6 panel 204 bop high line van which has covered 60,000 miles. Last week the engine started to make a noisy tapping noise, I plugged in my Carista and this gave me fault codes P1007 and 24840, which a friend who is a mechanic diagnosed as misfire on cylinder four, we decided to remove injector 4 and do a compression test at the same time, unfortunately his compression tester would fit in the injector hole, we decided to replace the injector hoping this would solve the problem, unfortunately the fault codes and misfire is still there, which I presume means the engine is shot, however I would like to carry out a compression test to clarify this. The glow plug is refusing to budge so would prefer to do the test with a dummy injector adapter, I have trawled the internet to no avail, does anybody know a part number for this adapter and where I could purchase one from?
