Coolant Temperature Sensor Not Getting To 90

I've owned a couple of VW's and Audi's and they all got up to 90 degrees temperature and stay at that for the duration of journeys. On my 2019 T6.1 Kombi it never gets to 90 degrees but seems to fluctuate below it and takes a long time to get up even near 90 - usually staying at 70 degrees unless I accelerate hard. The oil temperature sensor on the MFD is staying between 75 and 86 most of the time while the coolant. Is this normal or a sensor issue perhaps?

Yeah, your thermostats gone. If it’s not had a cambelt/water pump yet, then now would be a good time to save labour costs.
Timing belt and water pump done last Wednesday. It was getting to a few degrees below 90 before that was done during a spin so it's back to the mechanic I go.

Ah b@**cks…
Was it done at main dealer? Try it on with the garage? “Ever since you changed water pump it’s not getting up to temperature…”
They might offer a discount?

Yeh at main dealer. It wouldn't be untrue as it was getting closer to the 90 degrees in a faster time & staying at that temperature before they did the work. Now it's not doing the same as before.
