Hi all,
I’m after your help if possible,
I have a 2018, T6 Kombi, 150bhp with an intermittent starting fault, engine cranks but no ignition.
it’s done it 4 times over the last week, once started it drives perfectly. No unusual sounds or dip in power etc.
Full tank of premium diesel,
Fuel filter was ok but been changed out for new anyway, and the faulty start has happened once again since the filter change (no /metal in the filter so doesn’t look like it’s a HPFP failure)
Delphi HPFP on system if that makes any difference.
Just after any help with what to go for next, it seems to me like the fuel drains back to the tank leaving the fuel unprimed and once primed it works well, im just unsure what could cause this?
Thanks a lot for any input,
Ben
