Ctek 250 Question

Yes I know shit picture, will get the seat out tomorrow and do it right. Yes it’s set up just like the diagram, theirs a 2 negative but can’t be seen in the picture the van was running when taking the photo, the a light was the one what was flashing around 6-7 seconds intervals
Are you able to do what deaky has suggested to test that the pannel is actually given a voltage , obviously when the sun is out lol ,need a wee volt meter , plenty of videos on YouTube how to use one , also the amber light shouldn't flash when working so it would be good if you could also check the voltage on the A terminal on the ctek with engine on to see if when it flashes what voltage it shows

Hi I’ve the sun splitting the trees and still no solar it’s putting out just over 20v I’ve the nasa bm2-12 battery monitor and all the negatives on the block what came with it still so lost on this any help thanks

Lol ,sorry buddy ,I actually thought it was a good question , ano both solar and battery in can work at the same time but if auxiliary battery is fully charged and engine was running , would it mibi just the solar off , does look like solar panel is working
Well that light combo means the leisure battery is being charged by the alternator. If the leisure battery was full then the battery light would be off. Looks to me like solar isn’t working. It would be good to get a voltage reading from the -ve and solar input posts on the CTEK while everything is connected up.

Yes the motor was running, and I’ve it sorted now and working just the monitor to do to the starter battery. Thanks for the information guys
What was wrong? It might help someone else with the same issue.
