Evening,

Any help is greatly appreciated on why my leisure battery is not charging.

2018 t6

New 280ah AGM battery.

New Ctek 250se

The Ctek will flashing in “current saving mode” for one minute then supply a charge for a second. It keeps looping in this sequence.

Leisure battery was 13.3v when installed. After a short trip being used for lighting and phone charging it is now sat on 12.5v

Iv checked all fuses and wires over and over again with no joy. And im 99.9% sure iv installed correctly.

12.43- 12.55v van battery (13.4v running)
12.54v input positive on ctek (13.4v running)
12.5v output positive on ctek (12.5v running)
12.5v leisure battery

Any help/ideas is appreciated. Regards James

I think the ctek is seeing the leisure battery as being full at 12.5 v so only charges it a little bit to keep it at that level - in the instructions it refers to this as a pulse. Run the leisure battery down a bit and you should see it charge it back up again, I’m not convinced you will get it charged up to 13.3 volts using the ctek- others may be able to confirm if I have this right

I find this a useful guide
