Almost finished building this DIY removable Kitchen pod for my Kombi.
Still got to install a shelf inside

USB sockets on the left side, CAN FL1323 hob and sink and a Whale submersible pump in the water container. Wired on a quick release plug for when removal is required.

Looks ace, nice one. Regarding the bench seat in that position do you have additional seat belts for it to travel there?

No, as my van was a panel van originally there are no mountings for the rearmost seatbelts and it is lined and carpeted so would have been a ball ache to retrofit.

So - if I am carrying one rear passenger with the bench mounted at the back they could sit in the middle seat as the seatbelt is integral.
Or, I take out the quick release kitchen pod and then move the seat back to the traditional kombi position and the outer seatbelts will work as intended for 3 people.

Nice one thanks for the info.
Hows does your quick release work for the pod? i.e how have you attached it to the van if you dont mind me asking

If you look either side of the pod on the base there is a bolt going though the front load lashing point and a bolt through the middle one. The power connection for the USB ports on the side and the water pump are on a connector.

So, remove two bolts and undo the connector and it can be completely removed.
