If so there is another mechanism on Ebay via Spain though

Thank you, I’m currently watching that though have managed to track one down in Poland and as luck would have it, one of my work colleagues is travelling back there to visit family.
I would prefer to have the part number double checked before I press the button on the purchase though.

The only thing I can suggest is to look up those part numbers, ring your local vw centre and just see if you can get a price from them and if it is the right part. If you are giving them the part numbers I reckon they will be a bit more obliged to look it up. They won't give you the part number though. Then you will be vertain
