Dub Haus Build Thread

Did the floor raise much with the Dodo Duo on the floor?? I see you've still got the Kombi mat down.

Raised it by about 6mm. Not too noticeable, bit of a job getting the seat mount covers clipped in but overall, really pleased with it. 100% coverage and it’s loads quieter

Looks good so far and defo taking tips in readiness of mine once I've cured the leaks. Are you just going to carpet in one-piece ??? I've seen some pics on others and looks really good.

I'll be carpeting the side panels, doors, roof, metal areas, but probably not until next year now!

More stuff happening! Going to be installing an eberspacher D2L and easy start Pro so need a leisure battery!

Decided to wait until I can afford a decent Lithium battery with enough capacity for an inverter so “borrowed” the battery from the Split Screen Fire Bus to test and Setup the Victron Isolated DC to DC Charger

Also hooked up the Victron Battery Monitor and it’s doing what it should so all good :)

Will finish off wiring tomorrow and also start making some holes

Hi, where did you get that fitting kit please. When using that does the heater line up perfectly with the OEM B pillar parts?
@Skyliner33 Hi, I ordered from TPS. and no the D2L doesn’t quite line up with the footstep and B Post ducting. Apparently the D4 does, but the D2 doesn’t

Well, didn't get round to fitting the fuel pump yet as I took a 5 day all inclusive stay at the Ipswich Cardiac Unit. Great food, great company and staff, pretty poor view from the Isolation Room, and no pool! Can't have everything!

Will get back on this in a week or so

Not really! But was the best place to be! Went in for a chest infection, turned out to be proper Flu and a mild heart attack!

Take it easy and look after yourself.

Nice work, A Pillar looks great.
Thanks, first attempt and it does look good, learnt a lot and may redo it once all other panels are done, but for now, very happy
