Can add mine to the list. I've noticed it blowing for a couple of weeks, but got round to checking it today.

Apparently you require an Engineers report. Otherwise they are not interested !Here’s the link to the form to report a serious defect to DVSA, this is possibly the only way a recall will be forced on VW and you get the replacement EGR pipes for free.
If everybody with a failed pipe does it there might be some action.
I will print off the form and give it a goNo mention of that on the form? It doesn't take an engineer to state the safety aspect of the fault. The more reports the better - I doubt that VW submit a report when they replace the split ones.

Thank you. CXHAPlease post your engine code - on sticker under dash by steering column - something like CAAC, CXGB....EGR flexi-pipe: Exhaust Fumes In Cab, Hissing From Engine Bay.
Looking at the access its a pig of a job! I have the 204 engine so access isn't so easy Took me a whole day to do. Still not sure the bolts are quite tight enough but seems to be ok. My hands took a right beating. There’s something back there a bit lower down too that looked like the oil...www.t6forum.com
MY16 T6 has quite a few different engines.
