Just want to give these guys a shout out.
They have installed my TMP LFT suspension, modified my spare wheel bracket to fit my oversized wheel/tyre (they have never done it before but absolutely nailed it), fitted rear camera (Wolfbox) to fully converted van and are sorting out my DAB screen antenna.

I have to say they have been a top notch outfit and I would recommend them for those in the depths of Cornwall. Dave is super friendly and knows everything there is to know about VW Transporters.

thanks for the heads up, i might pay them a visit as i'm thinking on getting a couple of bits done

Can not make out if the dampers are XL that is longer than standard
Is the rear axle set coil over or arranged as standard?

The adjustments is that a potential 35mm lift max? What about minimum?

I bet that they are very comfortable.

:)

Look on Chilli Jam Vans, they have all the specs.
I had looked at them in the past so I looked again and for your system it gave a maximum height wheel sensor to wheel arch. The others it only gives a nominal lift. I guess I could extrapolate that each is the same but was unsure if one measurement was an unloaded spring while the other the actual gain. No matter. In the recent past I think that they may have hade a few more choices. So far as it is coil over well all systems have the front bound by a spring and some call the package coil over and some are just wondering if the rear is coil-over or not because I think that is unusual for a lifted set up but common for dropped systems.

I’m not really sure what you are on about regarding the suspension.

I’m set at +35mm

This is the Wolfbox. Very nice bit of kit. They wired it in with the reverse mode activation such that it does not throw a bulb warning with my THQ rear LED’s.

I used the Steel Mate adaptor on the OEM screen mount. Works a treat.

This is the oversized spare wheel bracket.
They painted it with truck bed paint or some such thing. Looks great.
They also used some extra long bolts.

As I suspected the rears are not coil over damper as in coilovers the fronts always are. sorry its the terminology that dealers use when promoting certain suspension products.

So if you are set at 35mm it looks as though you are only halfway through the adjuster range, so maximum height will be much more and conversely lowest height much less. I have seen that set up on Chili a while back and wondered if I gave up my pursuit of air to my tastes, could I live with adjustable coil springs as a last resort? I guess it would not be too difficult to spin more or less height on occasion. I am talking about going under height restrictions for lowering and rasing for more difficult off road. It would just need more planing and thought but less convince. Sorry just looking at desirability of your set up. A good side on view would be nice to see it would give a good idea. Great stuff! I see your new camera system are you enjoying that along with your new smooth ride? 😍😍😍😍
