Engine ID required to complete V894 for DVLA

Hi everyone, I bought a 2020 T6.1 late last year that had been converted to Kombi (i.e rear seat and 2 side windows added, plus windows in barn doors).

When I bought it the seller said he'd get the new seat number added, now 6 instead of 3, when he sent the V5C off.

Today I have received a letter from the DVLA containing a V894 Reply sheet plus a few more concerning built up vehicle reports.

I know I don't need to complete the built up vehicle reports but I need to clarify the engine number and capacity and don't know how to find these. I assume the capacity is 1968cc as it was sold as this with the 110hp version engine. I also need to send before and after conversion pics!

As the seller kept the majority of the V5C and I only have the new keeper slip I don't have any details to hand. Should've taken a picture of it!!!

Anyway I have attached a picture of a label on the left side of the engine which apparently should tell which engine type I have, if anyone can decipher those codes it would be appreciated, but for the life of me I can't see an engine number stamped in the block - will I need to get a mechanic to find out? Or am I just not looking in the right places?

Thanks in advance.

Looks like it is CXH but there will be a letter after that. Usually 4 letters.

Go on darkside’s website and put in your reg for the remap and it will give you the full code

And it will be a 1968cc

Cool, that was helpful thanks CXHC. Any idea where the engine number is?

Look for a big sticker maybe on a seat frame, under the dash or in the front of the service book, that will have the engine type listed but not the complete number.

It sounds like the actual stamped engine number is well hidden...

might need a mirror/endoscope to get to it :(
